Acting. Voice talent. Writing. Improv. Martial Arts. Photography.
Everette Plen does them all.
Everette Plen has spent most of his life telling stories—on camera, behind a microphone, through a lens, and everywhere in between.
His career began at just eight years old when he joined The Disney Channel, appearing for three years and starring as Flip Flopperstein on Disney’s Really Short Report during the Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers era. He went on to appear on television series including ER and Criminal Minds, along with numerous commercials, including work for Orville Redenbacher.
Behind the microphone, Everette has built an equally extensive career. An award-winning audiobook narrator, he got his start in the booth in 2009, and has recorded more than 35+ audiobooks. He is a current member of SAG-AFTRA and a voting member of NARAS.
Everette is also an alumnus of The Second City Hollywood, where he developed advanced training in improvisation—skills that continue to shape his acting, character work, writing, and approach to storytelling. He writes and develops his own original content, combining years of performance experience with a lifelong love of creating characters and worlds.
Outside of acting, Everette is a 4th-degree Black Belt and martial arts instructor, bringing years of discipline, movement training, and teaching experience to both his professional and creative work.
He is also a photographer with a particular love for imaginative, cinematic imagery. His photography uses 1/6-scale action figures, practical effects, cosplay props, lighting, and composition to transform small-scale subjects into scenes that feel pulled from much larger worlds.
Everette Plen is a writer and producer who creates original content from the ground up, developing ideas with a strong sense of voice, character, and personality. He has also created and directed promotional content for The English Beat, including campaigns supporting their classic Record Store Day re-issues through Rhino Records.
In addition, Everette served as an Executive Producer on the feature documentary Cosplay Universe featuring Stan Lee, further expanding his experience behind the scenes in film production and creative development.
Whether performing on camera, creating a character behind the microphone, writing something new, teaching martial arts, or building a story one photograph at a time, Everette’s versatility comes from the same place: a lifelong obsession with bringing characters, stories, and worlds to life.
